Welcome Back, CAP Family!

Welcome Back, Bruins!

We hope you all enjoyed a well-deserved winter break. As we step into the second half of the school year, weโ€™re excited to focus on one of our core goals: Empowering students to recognize their needs and use resources to solve problems effectively. By fostering resourcefulness and resilience, weโ€™re preparing our students to confidently navigate challenges and succeed in their academic and personal journeys.

Celebrating Achievements Before the Break

๐ŸŽ“ Dual Enrollment Success
A big congratulations to our 11th and 12th-grade students who completed their fall semester at Holy Family University, earning college credits while still in high school. These hardworking students were honored by the National Honor Society for their dedication and achievements.

๐ŸŽถ Winter Concert Magic
Both our Elementary and High School Winter Concerts were shining highlights of the season. From joyful melodies to unforgettable performances, our students showcased their incredible talents. Thank you to our students, teachers, and families for making these events truly special!

๐ŸŽ Operation Snowball: Spreading Holiday Cheer
Thanks to the incredible generosity of Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson, Jordan Mailata, and the Vera Y Records team, Operation Snowball delivered over 1 million gifts to students across Philadelphia. Here at CAP, we handed out 437 toys to younger students and shared Wawa gift cards, hot chocolate certificates, and cozy Operation Snowball hats with grades 6-12. Thank you to everyone who brought smiles to our students this holiday season!

๐Ÿ  Sweet Science in Action
Our 5th graders brought their creativity and engineering skills to life by designing gingerbread houses during science class. Learning has never been so delicious!

๐ŸŽ… Santa & Friends Visit CAP
The Police Explorers (and a certain jolly Santa ๐ŸŽ…) spread holiday cheer to our students, creating heartwarming moments to close out the year.

โญ Shoutout to BigFuture Ambassador Oscar Duran
Weโ€™re proud to celebrate 11th-grader Oscar Duran, who, as a BigFuture Ambassador, helped peers explore college and career tools, access test scores, and discover scholarships. Thank you, Oscar, for inspiring others to plan their futures!
