Students begin freshmen year with a math curriculum that combines Algebra and Geometry and by the senior year some students finish with pre-Calculus while the others will take the AP Calculus exam for college credit. CAP's science program is rigorous and we educate students in Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, Physics and Environmental Science. The language program includes Latin and Spanish. Our English courses are well rounded with courses ranging from American Literature to World Literature. Our Writing program is extensive and students score proficient and advanced on the Writing section of the PSSA. Research papers are a major focus of the entire curriculum. Poetry writing is the focus of the Creative Writing course. Students that find they love writing are involved with the Poetry Café and the literary magazine, the Promethean Reader.
One of the goals of the mission of CAP is to teach students that learning does not end in the classroom. Through the yearly overseas trip and our connection with North Carolina Outward Bound, students are able to learn from doing and experiencing. CAP has many extracurriculars that also show and guide students to learn outside of the curriculum.
CAP is a member of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA). We have an array of varsity and junior varsity sports like volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball, and baseball.

CAP Elementary Division students come from many backgrounds and families, but all the CAP families are looking for that special school that fits. CAP strives to respond to students whose needs have not been met by large public schools that lack important student support services and enrichment activities.
